A game jam is where you have to create a functional game within a given time (for this game we created it within 48 hours). The theme for the game jam was "sneak attack". You are a scarecrow protecting your candy by jump scaring children in an arrow pressing DDR style game. Below is a link to the playable game (and instructions for how to install and play).

The artwork (and the child voice) were by me, programming done by Brett, and music by Dylan

Due to time crunch I tried to keep the asset designs simple. The first pass of the characters was just geometric block outs so I could just easily kick out a lot of art, and a friend of mine pointed out they kind of reminded her of cardboard characters on sticks which shaped the final direction.
